On July 16, 2025, the Committee on Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a meeting between Chairman of the Committee Mirzozoda Nizom Yusufi and a delegation of the International Association for Territorial Development (IATD) headed by Chairman Vasil Maratovich Mazitov, who are on the visit to the Republic.
The Tajik side expressed interest in attracting development companies and investment funds to implement industry projects, in turn, the Association’s management offered a number of options for familiarizing Russian companies with these projects within the framework of international forums and business missions.
Practical issues related to approvals, obtaining permits, and other requirements of the construction market regulator in the Republic were also discussed.
During the meeting, it was decided to include a representative of the construction Committee in the IATD Expert Council.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the issues of sustainable development of territories, improving the quality of the urban environment, cooperation in the field of spatial planning, the introduction of modern construction technologies, digitalization, modern management methods in the industry, exchange of experience, training specialists, as well as other issues related to urban development.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation in the field of urban planning and infrastructure development.
