Moscow Region, September 16, 2025 – The Russian Ministry of Construction held a business breakfast at the Pirogovo Yacht Club near Moscow, organized with the support of the CRE publishing house «Water. Infrastructure for Life.» The event, held as part of the finals of the 2025 Business Club Sailing Championship, brought together key industry experts to develop new approaches to coastal development.
Over 100 representatives of federal and regional government agencies, leading development companies, architectural firms, and financial institutions participated in the business session.
Maria Sinichich, the Director of the Department of Integrated Development of the Territories at the Russian Ministry for Construction, opened the event. She emphasized the importance of uniting the efforts of all parties involved to create a quality and comfortable urban space.
«It’s no coincidence that we’re holding our meeting today at a yacht club, as this is an excellent opportunity to focus on the creation of social, logistical, residential, and recreational infrastructure on the water and using the opportunities offered by waterways,» the moderator noted.
Alexander Lomakin, First Deputy Minister of Construction and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation, supported the initiative to transform the Architectural Regatta into an annual professional platform for exchanging experiences and finding innovative solutions.
Vasil Mazitov, Chairman of the International Association for the Development of Territories (IATD), presented a report titled «Water Economy: Challenges of Central Asia.»
In his presentation, he presented an analysis of water use and projects in coastal zones in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, both at the interstate level and at the level of specific development projects. He also discussed the situation with developer Emin Agalarov’s Sea Breeze Uzbekistan project.
Information about the construction sector in Kyrgyzstan and the rising cost of land in coastal zones also generated interest. In conclusion, Vasil Mazitov invited Russian experts to participate in the development of green building standards in Tajikistan.
The event was particularly significant thanks to the participation of department heads from Samolet Group and Level Group, who shared practical cases of creating residential and commercial real estate near water. Roman Kapinos, Deputy General Director of FSK Region, noted the growing demand for properties with access to water.
