From November 17-22, the International Association for Territorial Development (IATD) held a series of meetings at the State Land Management Committee and Geodesic Agency of the Republic of Tajikstan.
As part of this project, a team of experts from the State Enterprise for Real Estate Registration of Tajikstani specialists was formed. Together with experts from IATD, they identified a pilot area in the capital city of Dushanb, after which they began a comprehensive analysis of the real estate market.
Experts are studying transactional data, collateral commitments, pricing factors and other crucial information necessary for carrying out a cadastre valuation of properties.
Based on the findings of this work a roadmap has been created for future activities, which will enable the successful conclusion of the pilot project by the end of this year, according to Oleg Mokruschin, head of IATD’s scientific and technical committee.
